The Owner's Manual, or TOM, is a free study Bible released online in 2026 at bibletechsupport.com. It is built on the Berean Standard Bible and edited by Nate Jurewicz. As far as we know, it is the first study Bible built with the help of AI and checked by a real person. It uses 15 highlight colors to show prophecy, fulfillment, archaeology, miracles, the bloodline of Jesus and more, and it tracks 1,052 prophecies so far. We will be honest right up front. In a timeline that includes Luther, Tyndale and the King James translators, this one is the new kid. We are just glad to be on the bus.

Why Is It Called The Owner's Manual?

Nate's dad is an ordained minister who worked as a locksmith. Every morning he sat down with his Bible and a bowl of cereal, tapped the cover and said, “This is my owner's manual.” He named this Bible about 30 years before it existed.

The idea is simple. God made us, so He knows how we work. The Bible is the manual from the Maker. And like most manuals, a lot of people never read it until something breaks.

What Makes The Owner's Manual Different?

Most study Bibles start with notes. TOM started with colors. Before a single page was built, a highlighting guide set the rules. Every category gets one color, and every verse gets one color, so your eyes never get confused. Prophecy always wins, because prophecy is the heart of it.

  • Prophecy and fulfillment, linked both ways. Every prophecy points forward to where it came true, and every fulfillment points back to where it was promised.
  • Honest ratings. Each match is marked HIGH or MEDIUM confidence. A MEDIUM is never dressed up as a HIGH.
  • What is still ahead. Of the 1,052 prophecies counted so far, 195 have not happened yet. They get their own color, blue.
  • Archaeology on the page. Verses backed by real finds connect to the Archaeology page, with photos.
  • Big Questions. On debated topics like the rapture or spiritual gifts, TOM gives every major view its best case and lets you decide.

The count started from J. Barton Payne's 1973 Encyclopedia of Biblical Prophecy, which listed 1,817 predictions. TOM counts differently. When the same prediction shows up more than once, it becomes one entry instead of several. The How It Was Translated page explains the method in detail.

For no such prophecy was ever brought forth by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit. 2 Peter 1:21

How Was AI Used in The Owner's Manual?

Let's say it out loud. Technology helped. TOM was built with Claude, an AI made by a company called Anthropic. It helped match prophecies to fulfillments, apply the color guide to all 66 books, draft book introductions and chapter summaries, check photo licenses and lay out the pages.

Here is what AI did not do. It did not translate the Bible from scratch. It did not write new Scripture. The robot is not the Holy Spirit. The translation work came from the Berean Bible Translation Committee. A real person set the rules, made the calls and checks every page before it goes to print.

Some people will say AI has no business near a Bible. That is a fair concern, and it deserves a real answer. Every new tool in church history got the same worry, from the printing press to the radio to the Bible app. The answer has always been the same. Use the tool, and check the work.

What Changed From the Berean Standard Bible?

The Berean Standard Bible was given to the public domain on April 30, 2023, and that gift made TOM possible. TOM makes a few clearly listed changes:

  1. God's name. TOM prints Yahweh where the Hebrew has YHWH, instead of LORD.
  2. Some King James wording. Where it is faithful and still clear, like the people who know their God will be strong and do exploits in Daniel 11:32.
  3. Brackets. Verses missing from the oldest copies stay in the text inside square brackets. Nothing is hidden or deleted.
  4. Modern measurements. Feet, pounds and dollars instead of cubits, shekels and talents.

Every change is listed in a public change log. TOM never changes a verse to win an argument or fit a doctrine.

This is My name forever, and this is how I am to be remembered in every generation. Exodus 3:15

Is The Owner's Manual Free?

Yes. The first draft is free to read online at bibletechsupport.com, and you can get it on the Download page. You can also get the free highlighting guide and mark your own Bible with the same 15 colors.

The editor is not a famous scholar. He is a pastor's kid, a Tampa real estate agent and a journalist with one year of Bible college, who speaks exactly one word of Greek and one word of Hebrew. Both are amen. That is a big reason the draft is free and open. You are invited to check it.

Why Does The Owner's Manual Matter for You?

TOM was made for one reason. To help ordinary people see what the Bible actually says, especially the prophecies that point to Jesus. You do not need a degree. You just need to be able to read and see colors.

And just like the Bereans, you are welcome to fact check every word.

they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if these teachings were true. Acts 17:11

If you find a mistake, email it in. Even the small ones. Especially the small ones. That is what Bereans do.
